The Bavarian games scene is well connected and meets regularly virtually and actually to exchange ideas. 


The Meetup-Group GAME/DEV/MUC, has 1300 members, mainly game developers from the Munich area. The administrators organise meetings for regular guests and Mini Game Jams. Ten to 20 gaming enthusiasts and game developer come together every second Monday in Munich at the regulars’ table. On drinks, chats and cultivates contacts in a relaxed atmosphere.

Videospielkultur e.V. (Video game culture club)

The Videospielkultur e.V. VSK has its club archive in the Munich startup HUB WERK1. The organisers regularly invite to the evening games lounge in the WERK1. What goes on there? Chilling together, enjoy the latest games and timeless classic games. The dates are shown on the VSK’s Facebook-page.

Game Audio Meetup Munich

Games are audio-visual media and live from good sound quality. Administrators of the meetup group GAME/DEV/MUC organise regular meetings in Munich for people who share an enthusiasm for music and sound tools, middleware and games. Dates? Here!

Indie Outpost

The game developer community in Northern Bavaria is behind the  Indie Outpost label. The active Franconians from Gentle Troll and Pixel Maniacs organise regular meetings to which students with an interest for games, hobby developers, artists, coders and game designers can feel themselves invited. Location: Würzburg and Nürnberg. Dates are announced via Facebook und Meetup.
