German Developer Award

On 18. Dec the German Developer Award (DEP) was held in Cologne. The unofficial Christmas party of the German developer scene began at Wednesday eve of a Live Music Jam.  On Thursday there were a summit with speakders from the industry before the award ceremony began in the evening. X-Mas Pitching

On the 10th of December, we had an Games/Bavaria X-Mas Pitching.
5 Teams from Industry and Universitys where able to pitch their projects in front of 4 veterans to get valuable feedback.

5 Years FFF Games

In 2014 the FilmFernsehFonds Bayern (the bavarian film funding) celebrated the 5th birthday of their games division. Happy birthday FFF Games!

The third time the FFF Games invited the bavarian games developers and publishers to spend a day in the alps. Special guest was the State Minister Ilse Aigner.

The 6th games development barcamp in Munich (17th-18th May). More than 150 attendees came together for a whole weekend and talked about their projects and share their know-how with each other.

The day after the Deutscher Computerspielpreis the Games/Bavaria Vernissage has taken place in the WERK1 Munich. All bavarian gamesdevelopers had a chance to present their current products and prototypes to the public and show and talk to each others about their current projects.

The Deutscher Computerspielpreis is the annual award of the german gaming industry. In 2014 the award was hosted in the bavarian capital Munich on the 15th of may.

At the day of the Deutscher Computerspielpreis Games/Bavaria hosted a roundtable conference in cooperation with the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology.

Ringvorlesung 2013/14

Starting with the winter semester in 2013 five professors from several bavarian universities came to Werk1 Munich to give a lecture about games. The summer semester was all about creative business with lectures about animations and gamedesign.
